This album was borne out of a friendship between three folk musicians and songwriters and shaped by the rugged landscapes and rich story telling traditions of the Pennines and Scottish Borders. We write about the folklore and landscapes of our home in Cumbria and the conflict and inequality that persists between those who protect the wild creatures of the moors and fells and those who continue to persecute all that is deemed 'red in tooth and claw'.

With tales of infamous border reivers and majestic sky dancing hen harriers we hope you enjoy our harmonies, melodies and toe tapping rhythms and that a little of what we care about resonates and rubs off on you.
